The eleven winning consortia of the Gaia-X funding competition – including the OpenGPT-X project of the German AI Association – can get started: Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Dr. Franziska Brantner has handed them their funding notifications. The Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) is supporting the projects with a total of 117.4 million euros as part of the funding competition “Innovative and practical applications and data spaces in the Gaia-X digital ecosystem”. The aim of the projects is to bring applications based on Gaia-X into practice.
