Study on „European AI Standards: Technical Standardization and Implementation Challenges under the EU AI Act“

With the AI Continent Action Plan, the EU Commission is once again presenting ambitious goals for the European AI landscape. However, many of the measures included are already known. What is missing is a binding governance structure, clear priorities and functioning funding mechanisms. Lengthy procedures and unclear responsibilities are slowing down Europe’s competitiveness. Instead of further strategy papers, we now need concrete, practical implementations to ensure digital sovereignty and technological connectivity.
